After receiving his degree in mathematics from UCLA, Jordan Blackman embarked on a mission to change the way students and teachers think about math. For over a decade Jordan has worked to breathe life into numeracy. Though he has taught in disparate settings and communities (from South Los Angeles to rural Indiana, from gifted and talented to at-risk), his belief that all students are able to succeed in mathematics has remained unshakeable. Jordan is not satisfied with helping students become proficient in learning standards, he wants to help them achieve absolute dominance over numeracy curriculum. Jordan has been certified to teach in California, Indiana, and Ontario. He also holds CLAD certification (Cross-cultural, language, and academic development) and has vast experience in teaching English language learners. He has been working with First Nations communities in Northern Ontario since 2016.
